Monday: Old Town Trolley Tour of San Diego , $25

  • About Old Town: The site of the first European settlement in California is full of historical buildings and museums along with trendy shops and traditional Mexican restaurants.

Tuesday: (Wednesday in June) Harbor Cruise , $10

  • FLAGSHIP Cruises: 1050 North Harbor Drive, just north of Broadway. 5:30 P.M. Departure, so don’t be late. A one hour tour of San Diego harbor with its yacht marinas, fishing boats, Coronado Bridge, Navy ships, and shipyards.
  • San Diego: After your cruise, walk to Seaport Village for shopping, dining, and even a carousel. Fish Market is great nearby restaurant. Or explore downtown—trendy restaurants in the Gaslamp district, shopping or a movie at artful Horton Plaza. Or try nearby Little Italy for pizza or pasta. We love Filippis, 1747 India St. Lots to see and do.

Wednesday (Thursday in June): Cygnet Theatre in Old Town, $25

Directions:

From I-8:

Take I-8 West and exit at Taylor St. Cross over the freeway and make a right on to Taylor St. At the third stop light make a left on to Juan St. Make a right at the second stop sign on to Twiggs. The theatre and trolley stop are on the right.

From I-5:

Take I-5 to the Old Town Exit. Head East on Old Town Ave (left from I-5 South, Right from I-5 North). Make a left on San Diego Ave. Follow San Diego Ave. until it ends at Twiggs St. Make a right. The theatre and trolley stop are on the left.

Parking is located across the street, with a smaller lot adjacent to the theatre. Additional parking lots are located throughout the Old Town area.

Transportation:

Transportation is on your own. USD to Old Town driving time is about 10 minutes. USD to Harbor Cruise driving time is about 20-25 minutes.
