Complimentary USD Shuttle Monday through Friday – just a short walk from the Old Town hotels to the Old Town Transit Center.
USD provides free shuttle service to and from the Old Town Transit Center, convenient to OLD TOWN hotels (Old Town Inn, Holiday Inn Express Old Town, Old Town Courtyard by Marriott, BW Hacienda Hotel Old Town, and La Quinta Inn OT). Please book an Old Town Hotel if you require a shuttle. Shuttles run Monday through Friday; NOT on the weekends.

The USD shuttle stop is on the EAST side of the trolley/train tracks, closest to Old Town State part, NOT the side of the parking lot where there is a shuttle sign.
There is NO sign to indicate the stop, but look for a white van with a blue stripe where the taxis pick up passengers, marked by a white curb. DO NOT confuse the USD van with the UCSD van.
Dorm/Hahn/Manchester shuttle info: loops regularly in morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday. Alcala Vista pick up is on west side of building.

The USD “dorms” are actually the Alcala Vista Apartments, two bedroom/two bathroom suites with living room and kitchen. Each participant has a private bedroom and a private bathroom, sharing the central living room and kitchen with one other (same-sex) participant. The apartments are located on campus .7 miles from the Manchester Conference Center. Shuttle service is USUALLY AVAILABLE, see “Shuttle Information” above. The 2011 cost is $525 for five nights, $430 for four nights with recreational privileges, daily breakfasts, and Sunday dinner. Visit our USD FAQ for more information about the dorms. You must be able to register on Sunday before 9PM. Spouses and family members cannot stay in dorms with attendees.
Note: Other groups, including students, may share the facility and may sometimes be “high spirited.” We cannot refund dorm payments. If you have any misgivings, please consider the hotel option.
