Street, San Diego (619) 260-8124 (suggested campus departure @ 5:30)
- About the Park: The site
of the first European settlement in California is full of historical
buildings and museums along with trendy shops and traditional Mexican
restaurants.
Theatre
At the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park on the outdoor stage (dress: warm, but casual)
Curtain: 8PM (make dinner reservations accordingly)
Theatre tickets are only $35 (Regularly $56)

Romeo and Juliet
Wednesday: Harbor Cruise, Seaport Village, Downtown
- Cruise: 5:30 P.M. Departure, so don’t be late (Leave campus @ 4:45). A one hour tour
of San Diego Harbor with its yacht marinas, fishing boats, Coronado
Bridge, Navy ships, and shipyards.
- San Diego: Walk to Seaport Village for shopping, dining, and even a carousel. Or explore downtown—trendy restaurants in the Gaslamp district, shopping or a movie at artful Horton Plaza, theatre at San Diego Rep. Lots to see and do.
Transportation: Transportation
is on your own. We suggest dorm participants car pool from the dorm parking
lot. Old Town and Globe Theatre carpools should depart at 5:30. Harbor Cruise carpools should depart at 4:45 sharp!
