AP* Calculus AB
Bob Barefoot taught AP* Calculus for 30 years at Chaparral High School in Arizona. He is currently teaching Calculus at Scottsdale Community College. He is an Arizona recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics, the Radio Shack Award for using technology in the teaching of mathematics and the Siemens Award for Teaching Advanced Placement Mathematics. He was a reader (grader) of the AP* Calculus Exam for nine years, a consultant to the College Board for 20 years, and has conducted numerous workshops for high school calculus teachers. This will be his eighth year teaching AP seminars at Stanford, his ninth year at Fordham University in New York and he taught with Louis Leithold for 20 years at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
